DIFFICULTIES OF MASTERING THE MORPHOLOGICAL CATEGORIES OF THE RUSSIAN VERB BY THE DAGESTANI NATIONAL SCHOOL PUPILS

Abstract

The article considers the difficulties occurring in the process of teaching the categories and forms of the Russian verb to non-Russian pupils. The problems are caused by the absence of this or that verbal category in the Dagestani languages or the inconsistence of the existing ones. In this connection special attention is paid to revealing similarities and differences in the systems of the Russian and the Dagestani languages and to applying the contrastive teaching method.
