Abstract

The article aims to study the grammatical semantics of Perfect tense in the German language from the viewpoint of linguistic typology. The special attention is paid to the non-standard Perfect markedness in the colloquial German, in particular, using the auxiliary verb “ sein ” with the positional verbs in its South German areal. The paper examines the unique corpus data of the leading research center in the sphere of German language studies - Institute of German language in Mannheim.
