SOME ISSUES OF COMPILING "RUSSIAN-KARACHAY-BALKAR DICTIONARY»

Abstract

The article reveals the issues of compiling a new "Russian-Karachay-Balkar language". The translation dictionary of 1965 of the language under study is analyzed, shortcomings in the design of dictionary entries, in particular, in translations, are observed. The author focuses her attention on the need to supplement the existing glossary, improvement of dictionary entries for the new dictionary.
