THE MODERN ENGLISH LANGUAGE AS A SYSTEM OF INTERPRETATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE AMERICAN CULTURE

Abstract

The article deals with the peculiarities of the modern English language from the perspective of the changes occurring in the modern American society. The specific examples taken from the original sources reflecting these changes are presented. The significance of such phenomena as political correctness and euphemia in the language of modern politicians further to achieve the stated objective is emphasized. The author focuses on the use of appropriate vocabulary addressed to the mass addressee.
