MOTIVATIONAL ANALYSIS OF THE USE OF SOCIOLINGUISTIC MARKERS OF CANADIAN ENGLISH

Abstract

The article carries out the motivational analysis of the sociolinguistic markers of Canadian English. Selected sociolinguistic markers allow determining not only the sociolinguistic motivation, but also certain stereotypes and elements of the conceptual sphere corresponding to the present social and communicative subsystem. The proposed algorithm of the analysis can be used for a larger number of lexical units, which will enable to create in the future a complete picture of these spheres corresponding to the development of the national variant.
