INFINITIVE AND FORMS OF UNREAL CONDITION MOOD SERIES

Abstract

The article considers the forms of unreal condition mood associated with infinitive in the Lak language. The Lak unreal condition mood is the future in the past in its nature and in the way of formation. Not all of its forms are presented in the works of the Lak language researchers. We have distinguished three forms of unreal condition mood: Conditional I, Conditional II, Conditional III. In this article, we will analyze in detail only one form - Conditional I. Conditional I is formed not from infinitive, but from potential condition mood. Potential condition mood, in turn, is formed from the stem of infinitive with the help of certain personal affixes.
