KNOWLEDGE INTEGRATION WHILE STUDYING THE RUSSIAN ORTHOGRAPHY

Abstract

The article deals with the process of the integration of knowledge on morphemics, word-formation and orthography in the classes in the practical course of Russian, which gives the teacher an opportunity to increase the first-year philological students’ level of practical knowledge of the Russian orthography, to form their spelling skills at the word-formative level. The paper identifies the basic cause of spelling mistakes, which consists in the inability to apply the rules, so the algorithm occupies a special place in the mastering of literate standard spelling.
