TEACHING TO READ AND TEXT LINGUISTICS (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE GERMAN LANGUAGE)

Abstract

The article is devoted to the linguistic basics of the methodology of teaching to read scientific and technical literature in a foreign language at the senior courses of Bachelor’s, Master’s programme and postgraduate course in a non-linguistic institution of higher education. The characteristic of the paragraph as a category of language is given. The paper also presents the methods of teaching to read and translate through the mastering of the semantics of the means of representation of various relationships between the concepts in the paragraph and the whole text.
