MODERN STATE OF TRADE AND HANDICRAFT VOCABULARY IN THE RUSSIAN DIALECTS OF LOWER SEREZHA REGION

Abstract

The article examines the hunting, wood distillation and tar distillation terms which function in local residents’ speech. They are analyzed from the viewpoint of correlation of dialect and standard Russian words and in the aspect of their systemic relations. The paper concludes that the mentioned terminological systems involve the relations of polysemy, synonymy and antonymy.
