SYSTEMIC GENRE AND STYLISTIC RELATIONS IN ACADEMIC LECTURE TEXT (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE)

Abstract

The article discovers systemic relations in the modern English academic lecture text from the viewpoint of genre and stylistic approach. The lecture is considered as a genre with complicated structure in which hierarchic relations are developed. The author refers paradigmatic, syntagmatic and epidigmatic relations to the basic systemic ones. Each of the mentioned blocks is realized by a set of interrelated lexico-stylistic means.
