COGNITIVE METAPHOR IN FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISCOURSE OF THE GERMAN MEDIATEXTS IN THE PERIOD OF THE ECONOMIC CRISIS OF 2008-2011
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of cognitive metaphorical models in the financial and economic discourse of the German mass media during the economic crisis of 2008-2011. The purpose of the article is to describe and analyze the metaphors of this period, to identify the specificity of the metaphorical models for this type of discourse and its component content and also to determine the most frequent models for identifying the most important source spheres from the point of view of the impact on the addressee.
