DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF UNIVERSITY TEACHING STAFF IN CONTENT AND LANGUAGE INTEGRATED LEARNING

Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of linguistic and methodological education for teachers of technical disciplines at higher education establishment. The author points out the importance of the development of foreign-language professionally oriented competence and formation of the methodical competence of teachers. The article describes the attempt of advanced training for university teaching staff and designing the programs of professional skills training at the foreign languages department. The program “Foreign Language for Implementation of Content and Language Integrated Learning” is considered.
