ARTISTIC SINGULARITY OF THE RUSSIAN AND THE ENGLISH SOCIAL EVERYDAY FAIRY TALES

Abstract

The article analyzes the artistic singularity of the Russian and English social everyday fairy tales. The purpose of the study is to examine the compositional, stylistic and genre features of this type of fairy tales. In general, the majority of the Russian and English social everyday fairy tales are characterized by laconicism, optimism and closeness to an anecdote. Wonderful transformations and metamorphoses taking place in these tales are described realistically, as usual and natural events. Characters of the Russian and English social everyday fairy tales are not idealized, their main positive qualities are kindness, resourcefulness, patience and compassion.
