PHRASEOSEMANTIC FIELD “BEHAVIOR” (BY THE MATERIAL OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH THE PHYTONYM COMPONENT OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE)

Abstract

The article reveals and presents the structure of the anthropo-characterizing phraseosemantic field “Behavior” based on the theory of semantic field with the elements of linguo-cultural analysis. The author ascertains the hierarchical semantic relationship of the components - phraseological units of this field. The main microfields and semantic groups of phraseological units with the phytonym component by the material of the English language (with the exception of obsolete and slang units) are distinguished in the behavior field structure. The position of phraseological units in the nuclear, central or peripheral zones of the revealed microfields is considered.
