ETIQUETTE VOCABULARY IN THE MODERN ENGLISH LANGUAGE: SOCIAL ASPECT
Abstract
The article is devoted to social aspects of studying etiquette vocabulary in the modern English language. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that for the first time the author provides a comprehensive lexical-semantic analysis of the English etiquette vocabulary. The analysis has allowed the author to identify lexical-semantic groups of nouns, to discover interrelations between etiquette nouns within a lexical-semantic group. The author’s attention is focused on identifying and analysing their essential characteristics.
