Communicative Potential of the Russian Language Morphological Means in the WhatsApp Messenger

Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine the specifics of using the morphological means of the Russian language in the WhatsApp messenger. The article highlights the features of the functioning of grammatical forms of significant and functional parts of speech, as well as modal words in messenger communication. The scientific originality consists in determining the specifics of using the morphological means of the Russian language in the WhatsApp messenger, in identifying those grammatical forms that are most actively used to express the communicative intentions of the participants in the messenger communication. As a result of the study, it has been determined which words of which parts of speech are frequent and actively used for this type of communication, and which, on the contrary, do not occur or are of little use.
