FORMATION OF CROSS-CULTURAL COMPETENCE OF CHILDREN AND STUDENTS UNDER CONDITIONS OF CONTINUOUS MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION IN SAKHA REPUBLIC (YAKUTIYA)

Abstract

The author considers one of the major problems of language and cultural policy - the creation of continuous multicultural education programme, aimed at the formation and development of cross-cultural competence of children and students in the educational institutions of all levels and forms in Sakha Republic (Yakutiya), analyzes the documents of republican government, programmes and conceptions of multicultural education, originating from the native culture to the world one by means of all-Russian, beginning with kindergarten age to graduation; and suggests the idea of ​​developing the republican scale programme that would increase the level of cross-cultural competence of students and would take into account the peculiarities of the region.
