ON THE QUESTION OF TEACHING EDITING AND SELF-EDITING TRANSLATION

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the problem of teaching future translators editing and self-editing written translation. The author presents a survey of foreign publications on the issue, suggests a set of exercises on teaching students editing and self-editing which are aimed at the improvement of quality of their written translations. The paper also suggests examples of exercises.
