THE ROLE OF MUSIC IN THE NOVEL BY AYN RAND “ATLAS SHRUGGED”

Abstract

The article considers the participation of musical theme penetrating with the novel “Atlas Shrugged” in the representation of philosophical and ideological content of the most important literary work by Ayn Rand, the creator of philosophy well-known in the modern world under the name of “objectivism”. The thesis by Ayn Rand about the reasonability of any element of a literary work irrespective of its scale serves as a starting point for this research.
