INTERACTION OF POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE POLITENESS BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE SITUATION “INVITATION” (COMPARATIVE ASPECT)

Abstract

The article examines the differences in the usage of communicative strategies and, accordingly, in the communicative styles conditioned by the different principles of politeness and specifics of socio-cultural relations and values. The author provides examples of empirical study on intersection of positive and negative politeness in practice.
