PARK CONTEXT IN THE “SCULPTURAL” ECPHRASES BY I. ANNENSKY

Abstract

The article analyzes poetical description of sculpture in the poems by I. Annensky “Myself at the Depth”, Bronze Poet”, “Pace. Statue of Peace” considering the typology of sculptural representation (garden sculpture) and associated with it esthetic context of landscape art. The author concludes that literary traditions, allusions, reminiscences and esthetic principles of landscape design are equally determine the specifics of landscape architecture with Annensky.
