FORMATION OF SOCIAL-CULTURAL COMPETENCE IN CLASSES OF RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (BY THE EXAMPLE OF TEXTS ABOUT RUSSIA)

Abstract

In modern world, learning a language is not only associated with the mastering of phonetics, vocabulary, grammar of the studied language, but also with the cultural code. The lack of such knowledge is particularly evident among foreign students who live and study in Russia, learning the language from the inside. The article considers the basic problems of the formation of social-cultural competence as an integral part of communicative competence, and proposes the approaches to the study of the material in the classes of Russian as a foreign language.
