TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF STUDENTS AS THE BASIS FOR SUCCESSFUL TEACHING OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Abstract

In the article the author provides a brief overview of the main existing theories and hypotheses of the foreign language acquisition, didactic recommendations to improve the efficiency of teaching foreign languages, and emphasizes the necessity for taking into account the psychological characteristics of students to achieve the effectiveness of the process of teaching foreign languages. Main attention is paid to the motivation, the activity of thinking and the dominant channel of perception and processing of information.
