THE IMAGES AND MOTIVES OF NATURE IN THE POETRY OF T. CHERNOVA
Abstract
The article deals with the natural symbolism in the “early” poems of Tat'yana Chernova, one of the outstanding representatives of the Udmurt women's lyric poetry of the second half of the XX century. The author identifies the prevailing naturalistic images and motives, and ascertains the precedents of their artistic actualization, semantic correlation with the image of the lyric subject. It is obvious that the “language of nature” is closely related to the Udmurt female poetic tradition, folklore, and mythological ideas.
