PROBLEM-BASED TEACHING AT THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE LESSONS: THE EXPERIENCE OF THE SAMARA STATE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The article discusses the issues of implementing the problem-based teaching ideas at the foreign language lessons at a technical higher school. The author shows the role of a teacher who comes out as an educational process organizer and instructor-consultant. The paper describes the experience of using problem-based tasks in teaching English to the students of the Samara State Technical University.
