COMPLEX TERM AS A SPECIAL UNIT OF SCIENTIFIC-TECHNICAL TEXT AND TRANSLATION UNIT
Abstract
The article considers the peculiarities of formation and functioning of the English nominal terminological phrases in the structure of scientific-technical text. The work carries out contrastive study of the component composition of the syntactic and semantic structure of the English and Russian nominal groups, analyzes possibilities of their understanding and translation into Russian by the example of the universal mechanism of intratextual connection - recurrence.
