ON STUDYING PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH SOMATIC COMPONENT IN LINGUISTIC, CULTUROLOGICAL AND TRANSLATION ASPECTS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of meanings ​​and peculiarities of translation of somatic phraseological units in English, German and Russian. The obtained data show that in the culture of the studied languages ​​the majority of somatic phraseological units are similar in meaning, but there are interesting cases of meanings discrepancy. Phraseological units under study have the following translation correspondences: phraseological variant, phraseological analogue, calquing, descriptive and antonymic translation.
