MUSICAL IMAGERY IN THE POETRY OF S. E. NELDIKHEN IN THE 1920S

Abstract

The article considers the originality of musical imagery in S. E. Neldikhen’s poetry of the 1920s. Attention is focused on the images of musical instruments, their functioning in syllabo-tonic verse and in works having a unique synthetic form. The reasons for S. Neldikhen’s appeal to musical images are comprehended; their role in the artistic structure of his works is studied. The specificity of the semantic content of the organ image is determined. The connection between the musical imagery and the synthetic form, the images of musical instruments and the philosophical views of the poet is traced.
