MIXED LANGUAGE AS A RESULT OF LINGUISTIC SYSTEMS INTERFERENCE (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE EAST SLAVIC LANGUAGES)

Abstract

The article deals with the notion “language mixing”, the appearance of which became possible due to the communicative community of speakers of two languages. The terms “borrowing” and “mixing” are distinguished. It is noted that language mixing is related to the issue of native speakers’ bilingualism. The comparison of such mixed languages as surzhyk and trasianka is made. The interference of the original languages is noted at the phonetic and lexical levels. The authors propose new approaches to the consideration of the notion “language mixing”. The conducted sociological survey makes it possible to reveal the prevalence of mixed languages.
