E-LEARNING IN SYSTEM OF MODERN HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract

The article considers the various definitions of e-learning and related notions, the features of this learning system that is gaining popularity in Russia. Special attention is paid to the existing advantages and disadvantages, as well as to the current state of e-learning abroad and the perspectives of e-learning in higher education system.
