Languages of Russia

This collection presents scholarly articles examining the history, structure, and functioning of the literary languages of Russia. Employing methods of comparative-historical analysis, the articles explore language contacts and sociolinguistic aspects, including issues of language policy and national-cultural specificity. Particular attention is given to the analysis of text, discourse, and written monuments, as well as applied issues in the study and use of the languages of Russia.
